Signs & Symptoms
Atrophic Scars (most common)
Ice Pick Scars: Deep and narrow
Rolling Scars: Broad depressions with sloped edges
Boxcar Scars: Angular with defined edges
Hypertrophic/Keloid Scars : Raised, thickened scars due to excess collagen production
Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) (cosmetic concern) : Dark spots left after acne heals (not true scars but often included in treatment)
